I know what your problem was. I lived in SIN for 5 years and this is a frequent problem, not just with QF, but with SQ, UA etc. The issue is that the SATS people guarding the elite lines have absolutely no idea about any FF program. They have been told that the elite Row check-ins are for first and bus class only. If you say 'no' when asked if you are travelling in first or bus, they will direct you elsewhere.
Now you can try to explain QFF, status and priviledges to a bemused SATS person, or use my technique. Just breeze through with a smile and ;
1. when asked by the SATS person "are you flying first or bus?" Answer 'yes'.
2. If they ask 'can I see your ticket?" Answer "no, sorry, I'm on an e-ticket".
Get the security thing done. Proceed to silver, gold, QP line. In SIN these lines are always set up in the same elite area check-in.
I have no idea why QF SIN staff were so unhelpful. But next time if you use 1 & 2 you won't need to be asking them.
