I have found Candlewoods kind of dumpy. Stayed at the PIT Airport location on a mileage run -- even at a $45 entertainment book rate -- it still seemed unimpressive. There were stains on the carpet, no front desk attandant from 11pm -5:30am, and the room looked dated. Overall not a good experience compared to the four times I have stayed at Staybridge properties. Was recently "blown away" when the Staybridge Oakbrook, Illinois property served Salmon Salads as part of the managers reception. A very pleasant experience.
