I know it sounds good but why would you want to access the PNRs.
What most people don't understand is that, depending on where you book and the nauture of the itinerary, that mutiple PNRs will be created. If you are travelling point to point on one carrier who are the operatin carrier and they have their own reservations/inventory inhouse, then maybe one PNR will be created.
Systems are not designed around the scenario above but for multiple carrier/mutiple segment itineraries ie 99 pax by 99 segs. Dependent on the flight being marketing or operating and where the airlines store their bookings/inventory will determine the number of PNRs created. What is stored in each of these PNRs will depend on the bilateral agreements between the GDS and airlines, and between the airlines themselves.
So be very careful when you say you would like to be able to access your PNR.
