I have been assigned a long term engagement in Birmingham through the
summer. Since there are only two Starwood hotels in Birmingham (one
downtown and one by the airport) I chose the Sheraton downtown, even
though there is a Marriott and Hilton (Hilton) directly across
from the client. I choose to drive 6 miles every day for the comfort
of Starwood.
I think the hilton you are talking about use to be a starwood unitil about a year or so ago?
