This is exactly the reason I want to preboard. First I will feel much safer if my kid is in a car seat, and second, I want to be able to get it strapped in without worrying about what other passengers are up to.

To me, it seems logical that it would go much quicker this way, and letting me on early does not inconvience anyone else in any way.
