You will easily be able to get the BA ref (either via phone or on AA.com by inputting the AA reference under the travel agent section). With that it is possible to preselect a seat and/or change it up to 24hrs before takeoff. But no chance of OLCI, PYOBC, or self-service kiosks. Of course with status you can always use the club check-in desks.
