Hmmm...never tried that...too expensive for the miles earned for my liking...but I can see how it could be fun.

I have done more flying than you're describing in four days - but that involved back to back immediate turnaround low cost Hong-Kong trips during major mileage promo periods.

I have done various weekend trips to Europe and Asia - Both can be done at times from LAX for about $400. There and back...sometimes no nights there.

Does your goal have to be round-the-world?
