My gut feeling is that an email to the CEO with all the other names copied into
"bcc" (CEO will not know they are copied) will get a result if they get 50 emails like that.
Advising them they have 24 hours to offer a solution or you will lodge a complaint with BBB gives them some room to move.
It is the
fair way to do this. Who knows, they may honour it in the end. one booking per person or whatever? That's all I want. Or for those who can't makit it easily to MEL, maybe like Travelocity they'll also offer the choice of a credit voucher with them for a few $100 - who knows?
If they have indeed re-written their "contract" since this occurred that smacks of deceptive behaviour. I do not know if that is correct, but others say it seems to have occured.
But this all needs to occur
TODAY or tomorow IMHO .. if time marches on this will not be a media story for anyone by Monday.
