I have to disagree with many comments here.

Why I think this'll be popular:
* Non-stop, VERY convenient for businesspeople
* If economy is open, then people can just sleep in the middle, emulating a nice flat bed!

Why CO won't pull out:
* Business/First is already a popular product for businesspeople, and CO will be making $3,300 one-way per person!
* HKG is a nice place for interline connections to the beyond (as well as a great place to stop over for a few days). [I'm thinking of trying this route to go to BKK or MNL next year.]

Another thing is that Asia travel is heavy with tourists June-July-August and December-January. Wait till those come in before making any judgements about the number of seats sold in the Y-class cabin.
