Hmmm. I'm mulling over a mileage run in early March...of course I still have to get to Newark, but since NYC is my home town, I don't really have a problem spending a day or two there first. With the price fluctuations on this route, it might be advisable to lock in the fare...but with bookings so light, I'd be a bit surprised if the fare went up again. (Who knows, CO might go berserk and offer a Y2K-like $199 RT fare! Wouldn't that be wild!! That would fill the seats!)

If one is considering flying this route, it might be a good idea to go sooner rather than later. If bookings don't improve, CO might cut back on the flight frequency.
