In the past I've found that a nice tightly worded letter and the supporting documentation faxed to the Consumer Affairs folks does seem to attract the appropriate response.

But consider this. Given that US Management is always looking to place blame squarely on someone else, overwhelming their fax will enable them to blame the liquidation squarely on the customers because we cost them to much money in fax supplies.
