Tawaraya or Hiiragiya?
I remember some posts about this in the past but was wondering if anyone had any (recent) experiences. They price out at a very similar level; Hiiragiya is slightly cheapter in that it includes breakfast (which can be had at Tawaray for an additional 2,000).
As this will be a once-in-a-lifetime sort of thing, I would hope to make the best choice. I have heard that Tawaraya is a bit more traditional (i.e. no minibar in the room!), which I like, but also a bit more snooty (?), which I certainly don't like.
Any suggestions very welcome!!
ps The main reason for staying there is the food, so if anyone has any experience with that, I would also be eager to hear from you.
