Prices are the cheapest by far & you'r enot gonna take the stuff home with you - wouldn't spend part of my vacation in a KMart... although we had to once when we were staying out at the Ihilani & that was our only option.
I can give you one reason only... the chairs & umbrellas sold at the ABC stores are pure junk and cost more.
My parents purchased 2 chairs in ABC in Feb and they were the most uncomfortable things I ever sat in. Low back, non-reclining sand chairs. The umbrellas are really not very large & sturdy.
If you have a car it doesn't take very long to get to either Walmart or Kmart. Yes, Costco is a bit farther away, but we go the day after we arrive, stock up on water & souvies, as well as buy the chairs. We're set for the entire trip.
