Yes, got the exact same PNR "solution." I explained as well. Insisted that it was their mistake and to please correct for the host of issues that you mention. International for sure.

Anytime a name is changed after a ticket is issued, and the ticket "reset" for the name change, seat assignments are lost and need to be reassigned--which you probably know.
