I can recommend that you not use an Ambicom USB BT dongle. Drivers seem to be flaky at best.

I've got a Logitech DiNovo media desktop (BT wireless keyboard and mouse) - the BT hub is in the mouse charging base. Overall, I've been pretty happy with it. Never used it in headset mode, but it pairs to my cellphone fine for file transfers.
