The question is if they want to bump s.o., who is not yet checked in or if thy bump s.o. whose bags are already tagged. If they know early that bumps are necessary, maybe they would offer that at check-in.

Hmm..., i am quite happy with a direct flight FRA-MIA in 5D. Additional €600 could hardly compensate for 15E and 35B on AA. Therefore, I want to know my chances for an u/g right after offering to VDB...should I gamble or should I go for cozy 5D?
