Yesterday, I flew my first P.S from JFK to SFO (flight 905). I was actually looking forward to it as I was curious to see what special things UA had in store for us. Well, I looked really hard and failed to see what was “premium” about this flight. I sat in Coach. We had two male flight attendants who seemed relatively professional and helpful though not terribly engaging. They wore friendly UA sweaters. The food was the same awful choice between pasta and meatloaf. The headphones had the same old single jack and didn’t work properly, and the sound kept shifting from one ear to both ears. There seemed to be more business class seats. We flew in an older 757.
I don’t get it. Am I missing something?
I was on UA 905 on the 23 april and I was really disappointed with F (upgraded from J).My seat did not recline or do anything as the electronics was broken , the seat opposite was taped off with a sticker saying unusable and because the business class toilet was broken, there was a queue to use the first class facilities .I had expected real champagne but no!
It did not look or feel good enough for such a supposed upmarket service.
