Seawolf, don't blame them on the $100 charge. Remember, at one point all the rental car companies offered 500 miles per rental. Now most offer 50 miles per rental day. All the airlines were looking to increase the fee, CO jumped and the others followed. It's like the banking industry... they don't want you to overdraw your account so they charge a lot. Airlines don't want to you to change your ticket, so they are charging a lot.

This and then kicking off the $100 change fee.
