Really.

The £400 rate was in October. The summer promotion was not in effect during that time period.

Another poster then stated that the £35 rate was during the summer, so I checked the dates I will be in London during the summer and found the summer promotional rate of £35 and booked it.

The rate was presumably uploaded into the computer by the hotel. That rate was confirmed both at the time of booking and by the sending of a follow-up e-mail.

The hotel would most likely be subject to jurisdiction in the U.K.

But my latest posts dealt with Starwood's role in this. Starwood runs the booking engine and made the representations about the validity of bookings made through its booking engine. Starwood would no doubt be subject to jurisdiction in the U.S. But that presupposes that someone would pursue litigation on this matter.
