I plan to book YYZ-CDG for 2 tickets with Aeroplan rewards for travel Oct 10-22, 2005.
Are there any differences in taxes/surcharges paid if I book it through the online engine versus through an Elite CSR?

Also, there are only Star alliances availablity for the dates that I want.
The YYZ to CDG portion is Air Canada direct,
but coming back, I will bly BMI to London, then Air Canada direct to YYZ.
Can i book couple days layover in London? If so how is that done through the online engine?
