How about Turin? The Meridien in Turin is meant to be amazing (at least in terms of design) although it is a little out of town. BA has permanent low fares to Turin.

The Radisson SAS in Krakow is a very nice funky four star (Krakow is also permanently cheap in BA Club) especially the junior suites. Not total luxury, though.
