It really bugs me when the words are painted right on the walkway, with a giant white line down the middle, and people *still* block it! I think it's the worst at LAS.

I also hate the looks I get from some people, after saying "excuse me." These are usually the Ma and Pa Kettle types who are standing there, slack-jawed, overwhelmed, taking it all in and can't grasp that someone just might be in a hurry to make a connection.

It seems to me that East Coast Americans grasp the concept much better than those on the West Coast. The people who ride the DC Metro escalators are the champs, IMHO.
