I believe this will work.

My experience is that once you purchase a ticket (theoretically for as little as $1), a residual voucher is issued with an expiration date a year from the new date of purchase. Also, I have had a ticket refunded that I used a voucher to purchase and had a new voucher issued with a new one year window. Actually, they once accidentally refunded the amount to my credit card.
