Can I extend a travel credit voucher by purchasing a fully refundable ticket?
I have a $150 travel credit voucher that I received for some travel inconvinience. It is the type that is non-transferrable. It can't be combined with any other credit. It expires on April 30th.
I do not have any trip planned to use it.
Could I buy a fully refundable ticket, using the credit as part of it, then get the refund? Would this get me the value of the credit voucher back, or at least extend its life another year?
Or am I searching for MR for about $150?
