no experience with the hotel but you are a good 45 minutes from downtown DC w/out traffic (and there will be traffic on Rt. 50 getting into and out of town). There are some suite type hotels right outside of DC (Arlington and Alexandria VA, for example). Sorry, can't think of specific names off the top of my head.
