According to Randy, the new FT boards will have sub-forums within each forum. Hopefully, one of these sub-forums will be for news items.

In the interim, I would ask doc if he would be willing to create a couple of generic threads for say CO Press Releases, Newspaper Articles and Merger News. That way, those members here who like to see the news in the CO forum could see it here and those uf us who don't can simply ignore these threads.

I know what some of you are going to say, why can't you just ignore them anyway. On some day's there are 4 maybe 5 new news items posted by doc. That pushes the other discussion topics down the list. This way, we could keep it to a maximum of three news topics active at any time.

Just a suggestion for a compromise until Randy gets the new FT operational.
