If you know someone, you can get tickets to the shows during fashion week. If you don't know someone, and just show up to some of the less popular shows you can sometimes stand in the back - not exactly a romantic gift.

You may want to consider a different idea though ... there are companies that that for a fee (usually around $100) will get you into designers' showrooms that aren't open to the public and take you on tours of places you otherwise couldn't get into where she can do what all fashionistas live for - shop!
