I've just looked into this as I may be about to move out there for a while. I had exactley the same expectations that Gulf would be quite good. Seems they are not. Economy appears to be aweful, business ok'ish and First quite good but only because they have an on-board chef.

If you going J I'd stick to BA IMHO.
