I guess SQ doesn't have Employee Class concept, so that could explain her response.
Incidently, while I was checking in at the SFO SQ counter, I struck up a conversation with the check-in gal, and she confided that when she flies back to taipei next week, she's flying on EVA EverGreen class, which is much more comfortable than SQ coach.
