monitor, I disagree, and here's why:

1. Told he would be rebooked in F. Not done, and he was ridiculed by an agent for asking to get what he was promised.

2. Told it would take too long to rebook him on another airline. We all want to go home at the end of the day, but most of us try to finish our work first.

3. Told he could make an EIGHT minute connection if he ran. That would be a miracle in most airports.

4. Rebooked on only one segment rather than the two that would get him where he was going.

5. Told by a CO agent that a flight with a CO number would have to be rebooked by NW.

6. When that same agent asked is there was anything else he could do, and in response got a simple (and inexpensive) request, chose not grant that request. So why ask?

7. Offered useless and expired compensation.

8. He's hardly the first or only person to do a mileage run. Seems to me many people on this board do it pretty frequently.

And it seems to me he can't exactly switch back to NW in the middle of a trip, which is what I understand snake was advocating.
