Flying to buffalo in a snow storm at night, We had to abort the landing twice. The pilot came on both times and blamed the ATC for putting us on the wrong glide slope. It's the first time I've seen women crying and the FA with a worried look on their faces. I was in first and even with 3 drinks in me I too was dry mouthed and heart pounding. The plane was a DC9 from DTW.
