I was in Dubrovinik for 5 days in August 2003. One of the most beautiful places in Europe and definitely very few Americans. There are no gay bars, restaurants or area, but they do have a gay beach area. Take a boat to an island across from the harbor and look for the nude beach (no sand, just rocks) area sign and pass through naked Breeders and you will find the gay area. If you go to Dubronvinik during summer they have a wonderful cultural fest with at least one activitiy(music, theater, dance) each day. This place is so romantic I think you guys will really love it.
