I think the posting was truncated on FT and the section describing most of the meal was missing. Perhaps the OP can review and repost the missing parts. However my own experience with IB (on north atlantic flights in F) is that the food is more than ample and quite good (lots of food and good quality). Food and wine are strong points in their service (while on-ground service is a very weak point, as is J seat comfort until they finish the cabin refurbishment).
