If it's hiking you want, then Bangkok to Chiang Mai and start from there, or maybe even in the foothills of HK (Lantau etc are surprisingly different from the skyscrapers of the Island). The tallest place in Singapore is the bar at the top of the Swissotel Stamford, so it's not exactly a hiking destination...
