thanks, guys. i think i will do an as comp in august (or after whenever the cutoff date is that gets me 06 status). i did an as comp several years ago, but i think i can do another as long as i open a new account with them and don't comp from the same program i used before.

since i won't be flying nw in the us (too expensive + useless on the west coast), the upgrades are a non-issue and i never used the lounges back when i had access.

also, i was upgraded on as once last year pdx-oak and really enjoyed the experience.

civicmon: you live on the west coast too, right? i'm surprised you're so drawn to the nw program in its current state.
