I did see an airline-like argument last at EWR. Oversold EWR-LAX, and a couple was the last to check in. Not enough volunteers, they needed to IDB one of them.

Bottom line is this couple was going to be split up, which they didn't want.

They were going thru the scenarios with the GA, which were:

1. If she volunteers, he will get on
2. If he volunteers, she will get on
3. If neither volunteer, he will be IDB'ed

Either way they were split up.

In the end, she ended up volunteering,and CO allowed both of them to fly together on a later flight together, but only one of them got compensation.

Where was the film crew?
