Shanghai and extra India frequencies CONFIRMED

Sorry to do a doc but the Shanghai flight and the extra frequencies to India that have been discusssed on FT for a while have been officially confirmed today:

BA confirms increase in India flights

LONDON (AFX) - British Airways PLC (LSE: BAY.L - news - msgs) has confirmed an increase in flights to India following last week's signing of a new air services agreement between the UK and Indian governments.
From October 2005 the UK flag carrier will double flights between London Heathrow and Mumbai (Bombay) from one to two each day, start a new five per week service between Heathrow to Bangalore (as opposed to a three per week service previously planned) and increase services between Heathrow and Chennai (Madras) from two to six per week.

Then from March 2006 BA will double daily flights between Heathrow and Delhi from one to two, increase flights between Heathrow and Bangalore from five per week to a daily service, and increase flights between Heathrow and Chennai from six per week to a daily service.

Meanwhile, BA confirmed that following approval from the Chinese authorities its five flights per week service to Shanghai, China will start on June 1 2005.
