I'd go with Alaska. More integrated with Northwest and still 90K miles for an Asian WBC award. They also have more partners you can earn/redeem miles on (AA, CO, KLM, Cathay, Delta, BA).

You can try to have Alaska comp. your HP status to MVP or MVP Gold.

Or, try to have NW comp. your status if you don't mind the award inflation and want seamlessness.
