I'll add another recommendation to visit the Lauterbrunnen valley and perhaps even stay there. I stayed two nights at the hotel next to the train station in Lauterbrunnen (just walked over when I got off the train and inquirred about a room) and just walked around the valley and rode the cog train to the village above, eventually taking the lifts up to a visita high in the Alps and had a terrific time; really one of the prettiest places on earth. The hotel might have been named "Jungfrau" but there were several in the village; the campground at the other end of this really tiny village had cabins available.
