I've now got enough miles to do LAX-NRT for a long-awaited return visit to Japan. I see that MP has 2 different rewards levels, Saver and Standard. I plugged my info in the MP website at the Standard level and was able to find a seat. For the hell of it, I plugged the same info for Saver and ALSO found a seat! What I can't figure is, why would I use up more miles for the Standard ticket if I can also get it at Saver? Is there something I'm not seeing here?

Next Q: I could make my way into business, but I'd rather get into E+. That doesn't seem to be an available option on the website, can anyone tell me how (and if) it's possible to redeem at a E+ level?
