The silliest thing is that many of the politicians want to change the time in the middle of June of this year. They are in such a hurry to initiate this "wonderful job creating program" that they are unwilling to wait until 4/2006, when we could change times along with everyone else. Changing times in the middle of June will just confuse everyone in and out of state.

Then there's the issue that they want to put us on Eastern time. IMO we are too far west and north to be on eastern time in summer. The sun will end up setting in the middle of the night.

If the politicians really wanted to create jobs in IN, they'd clean up the Medicaid debacle and other government overspending and get rid of the business-unfriendly inventory tax. And quit the stealth doubling of property taxes that has been going on.
