at AA, if you receive a denied boarding voucher, you do not have to pay pfc or segment taxes on whatever you redeem it for. Thinking being you already paid when you bought the original ticket that you agreed to be bumped off of.

so my question is what happense at delta. I am new to delta-world and wondered if i have to pay pfc and seg taxes on tickets bought with dbc's

thanks
Hi, Jetcity405:

Yes, you would have to pay the all taxes on the new ticket. They don't carry this over from the old ticket that you got bumped off. However, the DBC voucher can be used to pay these taxes. If the total new ticket is $300 (including all the taxes), you could use a $300 voucher to pay for this ticket.

Hope this helps.
