I believe Citi's rental insurance is actually provided by MasterCard.

Call 1-800-MC-ASSIST for details on MasterCard's rental insurance. I know that Visa covers additional cardholders but I'm not sure about MasterCard. One of the phone reps at MasterCard should be able to tell you more about your Citi card's specific coverage.
