i have brought food on board aircraft for years. in this day and age, it comes with the territory. i am completely un-apologetic. i have to eat and i would prefer to choose my victuals than have a (nearly bankrupt) airline do it for me.

also, not sure why you have a single quotation mark around the word meal. i am sure it was his meal and, therefore, no punctuation is necessary.
