I didn't find any threads with reviews so I thought I'd start one on this property.

The HI in Milford, CT is right off of I-95 at Exit 36 - in fact, you can see the tall Hampton Inn sign from the highway - so it's convenient for drivers. The website indicated a recent renovation, so I was excited to see what was there.

Pros: The room was nice - enough space for a King bed, work table, and a Lazy-Boy chair but not much more beyond that. Everything was new, comfy, and there were small perks here and there (free wireless hi-speed internet in room and in lobby, a lap table for reading/surfing in bed, a reading lamp attached to the headboard). The bathroom was nice as well - the showerhead was one of those water-saver ones with good coverage but average pressure.

Cons: Door is a little thin so you can hear your neighbors coming in/out.

Free parking in the lot outside was great, too. Self-serve complimentary breakfast buffet each morning (cereal, juice, coffee, rolls, etc).

Overall, I was very satisfied with this property. Will definitely stay here again when I travel up to CT. Rate paid: $69/night + tax.
