I just realized what you are asking. There is a new card called the premier pass - but last I asked it was not offerred to citigold with fee waived. You can get the AAdvantage card with fee waived - and you can get both. In fact I have several aadvantage cards - applied to get bonuses - and after getting bonuses have then gotten the fee waived. I've actually done that with diner's as well - gotten the 12K bonus - and paid the first year, got the retention bonus, then had the second year's fee waived. I will ask if the premier elite card is being offerred now at my bank - most likely you could get both if you wanted them.
