Be aware of the LCC's baggage rules -- I'm flying TigerAir SIN to either SGN or HAN (leaning toward Hanoi now, but welcoming any suggestions). 15 kg for 1 checked bag and 7 kg for one carry-on although they also allow a purse or computer bag -- not sure if it is weighed in the 7 kg. I once had to toss a bottle of water and shift a book from my carry-on to a coat pocket on EasyJet.
