To add to my above post, I have no idea why CO sent me the 'Thank You' package but it was surely welcomed! I used the first 2 on flights from LAX-CLE and back and probably could have upgraded at the time using Silver status (pre-EUA).

When I booked the trip online, I called the OnePass Silver Elite line and they could only upgrade me on the outgoing trip since there was a note about a possible equipment change on my inbound flights. I waited for 3 days and went to see the Angels at the LAX CO PC who got me booked in 'A', noted the record, and collected my cert. I checked in using the E-Ticket machine at both the LAX PC and at FLL and both times the seats were already confirmed. I did notice that on the outbound my seats were 'F' and on the inbound 'A'.

As for being an CO expert, hopefully Cigarman was not talking about me because I am far from being an expert on CO.

ps Cigarman: still haven't received that cohiba in the mail. Maybe if you are coming to LB in Jan?
