HNL Upgrades on DL

IMEIT (if my experience is typical)

There is no such thing as a segment upgrade to/from HNL. (1)
You must burn miles on an upgradeable fare for an upgrade, or pay for a Business Class seat.
If you burn miles, however, it's totally confirmed and you can do seat selections as soon as you burn them.
