NW mileage credit misery
Here's the situation - I flew around 60 segments on NW over the last 5 months. Doing an audit of my OnePass account I found 6 flights that I never received OnePass mileage credit. I called OnePass and they need the boarding passes (which I have) as well as a receipt for each flight (which I don't have).
I called NW to get a copy of the receipts. They want $15 to do this. But here's the rub - it's their fault I didn't get the miles. What happened was on three occaisons when I upgraded at the gate (out of 20 or so gate upgrades), they cancelled that portion of the ticket and created a new one without my OnePass #. So for the remainder of the itinerary I didn't get credit.
So in two cases, I got credit for the first 3 segments of a 4 segment round-trip, but didn't get credit for the 4th, upgraded segment. In the other case, I didn't get credit for any of 4 segments on a 4 segment round-trip. They claimed to have entered my OnePass number (and they would have to to upgrade me), but alas, no credit.
So given this is Northwest's fault, do any of you have any bright ideas on how to get Northwest to either a) retroactively post my lost OnePass credit or b) send me my ticket receipts without paying the $15.
Lesson for gate upgrades on Northwest - make sure the upgraded boarding pass has your OnePass number on it. Doh!
